* Sharon is best known for three things:

  1.  Working with beginners and making them feel comfortable in any class.  Whether it be a first time Zumba attendee who never danced, or a Gentleman dragged to a Salsa class by his Wife,  or a newbee to Yoga who feels they have no flexibility.

2.  Cueing correct form.    Many Clients have mentioned that their low backs, necks, shoulders, and knees no long ache or have significantly reduced discomfort by how Sharon instructs how to properly do the exercises.   They feel their posture is better and daily life activities are much easier again.

3.  Will not let members/clients slack when she knows they can do more. Motivation and accountability are very important for people to achieve their goals. She texts her Clients who need motivation on a daily basis about their workouts for the day or nutrition guidance.

Other Tid Bits...

* Originally from Long Island, NY she has also lived in Natick Massachusetts; Pittsburgh Pennsylvania; Brockport, NY and Eugene Oregon.   She has been settled in Bradenton, Florida for the last 10 years.

* She grew up with excellent ballet training and got to perform with the Pittsburgh Ballet Theater.   

* Received her BS and MS in Dance and Exercise from S.U.N.Y Brockport and University of Oregon.   These degrees included classes in Anatomy and Physiology, Nutrition, Pedagogy, Kinisiology, Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Choreography and Performance.

* Earned her ACE Personal Training Certification in 2000.   She has been an active Personal Trainer for 12 years with clients ranging from age 10 to 88.

* Her latest certifications achieved in 2011 are in golf conditioning, in home personal training,  working with cancer patients and her white belt salsa certification in the Black Belt Salsa Instructor Training Program.
